Monitoring & Observability¶

Tier5 provides a two-layer monitoring approach: one for the cloud provider to ensure SLA, and one for the user to monitor their resources.

User Monitoring (Grafana + Prometheus)¶

We expose monitoring endpoints directly to our tenants. This allows you to build custom dashboards or integrate Tier5 metrics into your own monitoring systems.

Prometheus¶

An open-source systems monitoring and alerting toolkit.

Access: You can query the Prometheus endpoint directly to retrieve metrics about your instances, storage usage, and network traffic.
Integration: Can be added as a Data Source to your local Grafana instance.

Grafana¶

We provide a hosted Grafana instance with pre-configured dashboards for your project.

Visualization: View real-time CPU, RAM, and Network stats of your VMs.
Customization: You can create custom panels based on the exposed Prometheus metrics.

Cloud Supervision (Provider Side)¶

Zabbix¶

PRO-ZETA a.s. utilizes Zabbix for the underlying infrastructure monitoring (Physical nodes, Networking gear, OpenStack services).

Scope: This is an internal tool used by our internal operations team.
Alerting: Zabbix triggers alerts to our Help Desk, initiating the incident response process defined in your contract.
